Undergravel Filter - 1500mm

Under gravel filter with powerhead. Clip together filter system will cover an area of 1500 x 300mm (24" x 12") using 24 plates. Each plate is 75 x 250mm (3" x 10") and can be connected to form different size areas. The uplift tube is extendable from 200-300mm, and has a powerhead pump attached to draw the water through the gravel, into the grid system and back into the tank. This makes the gravel bed rich with beneficial bacteria that consume ammonia and nitrites. Power head sucks in air from outside of the tank and so acts as an air pump.
